Tom Teboe

Rhythm and Vocals

Tom Teboe of Seguin, Texas grew up in a family of singers. As a child he and his family attended the Church of Christ where he learned to sing harmony. Tom taught himself to play guitar at the age of 25 and later started writing his own music. He has been playing traditional country and western swing music in some of the finest dancehalls in south-central Texas since 2003. In 2008 Tom formed his own band which has now become Tom Teboe and The River City Ramblers! In 2011 Tom married his beautiful wife, Brianna Teboe, who not only manages the band but also joins them on stage. Thank you for all the encouragement and support.

Jim Cleckler

Bass and Harmony

Jim Cleckler, born in Laurel,Mississippi, provides harmony and plays the bass. He played french horn in high school and later played in the Air Force Drum & Bugle Corps. He spent 4 years playing bass in Europe touring with numerous country stars and acts including Tex Ritter, Rex Allen Sr. , Bob Morris and Faye Hardin. Settled in Texas in 1970 and began playing with Jimmy Peter 's Texas Juke Box Band, Andy Anderson, Rick Dorrough and High Lonesome Country,and several years with the Mike Lord Trio. Jim spent 15 years playing with Billy Mata and The Texas Tradition. Happily Married 39 years!!!

Gary Bernhard

Drums and Vocals

Gary Bernhard is originally from Norfolk, Virginia, but he got to Texas as soon as he could! He spent his formative years in Las Vegas playing in local bands around southern Nevada. He joined the Navy in 1973 and spent the next 34 years traveling the world and playing music from Memphis to Moscow! He has shared the stage with the likes of Freddie Fender, Tom Jones, Chely Wright, Alabama, Charley Pride, Eddie Money, Donna Fargo, The Drifters, and Sinbad. He toured with Armed Forces Entertainment in 2007 before settling down in Bulverde. In the summer of 08, he met Tom and became a River City Rambler.

Herb Steiner

Pedal Steel

Herb Steiner of Austin, Texas on pedal steel guitar. Herb has been making music since the early 60’s. He has played from California to Texas, playing and recording with bands such as Johnny Bush and Michael Martin Murphy, to The Cornell Hurd Band and Jerry Jeff Walker, just to name a few. In 2005 Herb was inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar Hall Of Fame. He continues playing all over south Texas and still finds time to write and teach pedal steel.

Ron Knuth

Fiddle, Guitar and Vocals

Ron Knuth from San Antonio Texas plays fiddle and guitar. He began playing at the young age of ten and continues his love of music even today. Ron has played with many of the greats including Hank Williams Jr., Faron Young, and Johnny Bush. He has songs recorded by Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, and Darryl McCall just to name a few. Besides playing, Ron also teaches at Bobby Flores Music School/Bulverde Academy of Music.
